The blog continues = this one FRUSTRATION

Is it a full moon today? (so cloudy here one wouldnt know) Since I walked into work this morning, the phones have been ringing with one thing or another wrong. We came upon a billing error that affects the rents for a couple of tenants going back to Jan. Our ace admin assistant is out sick today and the prop manager is not feeling so good. So far I am doing OK. But man, it feels like one of those days when you just want to crawl back in bed and start over and see if it will go better!!!! I am very happy to say that doesnt happen often on this job and 99% of the time I like it here really well.

We are going to Seattle and Vancouver WA the end of March. I am excited. Jim has never beene to the northwest and my oldest sister lives in Vancouver and I get to see her so very very little. So looking forward to a long visit with her. We will hang around Seattle for a couple of days sight seeing and then head down to Vancouver. I hope the weather cooperates.

Well just a little vent and news

Blessings

Ending the blog????

I think I might be closing my blog. Dont seem to have many people checking it out.. Maybe I will just use it now and again for venting... But then I have a journal I can do that in

Some Stuff

Yesterday Minnesota decided that this late in the year we were going to have winter. So we have received since yesterday morning about 6 - 7 inches of snow with hints of another 3 - 4 undtil it is done, and then maybe some more Wed or thur. The moisture was really needed so trying to be positive about it.

In the snow I had the priviledge of attending a Beth Moore seminar yesterday along with 2 of my daughter in laws. Thanks for coming Julie and Kim. It was a live satalite feed from TX so no cancelling. Its was a good seminar. Things I needed to hear. And we made it safe in the snow and all.

Our church was cancelled today so I have not been doing much. Did a little cleaning and have posted some pics here. I need to tackle the front closet but dont know if I will get that done

In the midst of this cold my amaryllis is blooming so beautifully Here is a picture of it gives me hope for spring.

Thats it for today

Blessings

Both of my teen grand daughters are in competition choirs in thier high school. We were fortunate enough to see them last weekend in Waconia. I have a few pictures I am going to post. This part is of Em doing songs from Annie. She played the part of Mz Hannigan in the beginnging and then sang a solo as an orphan. Such a great job she did.

February 22, 1972

It was high noon on this date, when Mr. Eric Gilbert Moteberg arrived . He was a strapping big boy 9 pounds and 14 1/2 oz and was 22 inches long. He had a rough time getting into this world but he made it and his Dad and I saw the most handsome baby boy ever born. We were so thrilled to have a son. He was a sweet baby boy and filled our lives with more love then we knew that we could receive or give. It wasn't long before we realized that we had a smart young man on our hands. By the age of 2 he was reading and correcting his sisters speech.

He has brought us so much joy in his 35 years of life. Along with his intelligence was a very musically talented young man. We spent many nights at concerts and plays that he was in. He also did some sports and that was always fun to go and watch him participate in them. He now has taken a beautiful loving wife and has given us 2 beautiful talented grandchildren. I believe his son is giving him a run for the money.

How Gil and I thanked God over and over for the son that he gave us.

Eric I know that your Dad would be so proud of you as I am. Thank you for all the fun and love you have given to me

Happy Birthday Eric. You are greatly loved.

"Cold" February

I think I liked it better when January was the coldest month of the year. This year however, February is proving to be the coldest month of the season. BRRRRRR To top that cold off, I came down with a cold. Usually when I get the flu shot, I am cold free during the season, but last Friday I started to sneeze and have a runny nose and by Sat evening, I was in the midst of a full blown cold. The thing with this cold is, it has made me so doggone tired. It seems if I close my eyes for just a minute, no matter where I am, I am asleep. I missed Monday of work and only managed to be at work in the mornings on Tue and Wed. I am hoping that today I will make it through the day. My co-worker told me yesterday, "I dont care how sick you are tomorrow, you get your butt in here and do payroll and then I dont care what you do"! Well I will get payroll done, and I hope I can make it the whole day. After all it is year end, and I do need to get the rest of the entities to the CPA for taxes. I am almost done. Have only 4 left to go out of the 13 that I had. Soooooo, I am well on track.

Yesterday was Valentines Day. Jim is such a Honey about Valentines Day. He really likes that holiday and I feel so loved. He gave me a gift certificate for a one hour massage, a manicure and a pedicure at a day spa. Oh I am sooooo looking forward to that. Thanks Honey!!

Tomorrow night I get to go and get my Luke the Duke and Abbe Dabby Dootsie. I am SOOOOO excited. Then on Saturday we are going to drive to Waconia and see Miss and Em in thier musical competitions. I am so looking forward to that. Along with Abbe and Luke we will get to have a male freind of the girls come and sleep at our house on Friday night too. Well since Tonja and forsure Emma are coming back to our house on Sat night, he will be there on Sat night too. Ohhhhhh Happy Weekend. I am glad that I am feeling better.

I wish that Eric and family could join us, but Kim is so blessed this week to have her Mom and sister and niece and nephew visiting with them from CA. So I am so happy for them.

Well I have babbled on long enough..

Blessings

Blessed

This past weekend and today I found myself feeling so blessed. I know that God is always blessing me but sometimes one just feels it more.

On Saturday Kim and Eric and the kids came over, and while Jim and I went to a birthday party for Jim's grandson, Eric and Kim got the walls in our bedroom ready for painting. I am so thankful they did that for us. Then Sunday they hung out with us and that was so fun. I must tell you about my Joe-Man. He was not so excited about laying down to take a nap on Sunday afternoon, and his Mom said "Josiah, I am not going to argue with you about this" and he retorted sharply "Yes you are!!!!!" I could not help myself, I had to laugh and I must say I have enjoyed a chuckle every time I think of it. What a boy!! I will attempt on another day to post some "Super Bowl" pictures, but not tonight.

Then today I had lunch with a young lady that I have come to love. She is Julie, Jim's daughter in law. I admire this young lady. She is one strong woman who is so very talented and so VERY busy. I hope that she knows that she is in my prayers often.

So in spite of not feeling the best tonight, I still feel VERY blessed.

Blessings to all

Musings

Today it is really cold out. Well not as cold as it is going to get they say, but cold. I didnt feel like rolling out of bed, but did and headed into work. It was really quiet there as both our bosses were out of town. They let us know that we could go home anytime we wanted to. Isnt that amazing? Sue had guests coming so about 12:30 she bugged out. I had some filing to catch up on and a couple of faxes I had to do this afternoon, so I got those done and I was out of there by 2. I am truely blessed by my job. God thank you!!

I came home and took my old comforter down to the laundermat and washed it in thier big washers. I purchased a new bedspread and window toppers for our bedroom and Eric and Kim want the one I had in there. The reason, I changed is I am really tired of comforters and bedskirts. So I got a bedspread. I might get another one for summer, as this one seems wintery and right now, it feels really good on the bed. Anyway, I am glad I got that done.

This weekend we really have no big plans. If it isnt to honkin cold tomorrow, we may go to see my grandnephew play hockey. I have followed him since he was only about 4 and he is now 10 or 11 and Jim really enjoys it too. His son was a goalie when a kid and he was the goalie coach for the team. So we go when we can when there is a home came and root for his team.

Well thats all of the musing I have in me for this afternoon. Blessings
