THANK YOU GOD
As most of the U.S. knows, southern Minnesota, parts of WI and Iowa are being tormented with torrential rains and flooding. My daughter lives a part of WI that is in this area. Yesterday my grand daughter Maurissa went for a job interview in the Dells. Her interview was at 1:30 and she was not home at 3:30 and then at 5:30 I called my daughter and she was still not home. They went out looking for her but got just a few miles no matter which road they took without running into the road being covered with water, so they returned home and called the WI sheriff's department. My daughter was told there were 100's maybe 1000's stranded in the Dells because of flooding or mudslides. Needless to say I was praying and asking my friends to pray for Missy's safety too. About 7:45 I got a call from my daughter saying Missy was safe. She had driven through 2 flooded roads only to come to a road that was washed out, so she turned around and drove through them again only to have a mudslide happen right in front of her. (I thank God that she wasn't IN it). She finally got back to the main highway and headed down that road to her girlfriends only to find the highway was under water. The rain subsided for a bit and then 3 of the vehicles, including her, decided to drive through the water on the road and thanks be to God they made it.
I am so thankful to God for keeping my Missy safe. Please thank Him with me.
Blessings
Sandi
